A phone number is not access. Someone handed a list of six agencies — with no phone, no ride, and no ID — is not meaningfully closer to help. Extra Life Services works the space between the referral and the door. Here's how you can be part of it.
Our listings are only useful if they're true. If your hours, intake requirements, capacity, or phone number change — tell us and we'll update the directory the same week. If you'd like your program listed, reach out with the details and we'll verify and add it.
UPDATE A LISTING →Use this directory in the field. It's built for the moment you're standing next to someone who needs a bed, a meal, or a detox intake — every number is tap-to-call and every listing shows what documents are needed. Tell us where it falls short; field corrections outrank everything else.
OPEN THE DIRECTORY →The most valuable volunteer work right now:
We're building a North County resource network that is verified rather than assumed — and we want to talk with organizations and funders about what sustained, verified resource navigation could look like in 2027. If that's a conversation you want to have, we'd like to hear from you.
START A CONVERSATION →Our 3D printed recovery coins and Narcan cases are made in-house, and proceeds support the free outreach work. Nonprofits can order in bulk with their own branding.
VISIT THE SHOP →A note on donations: Extra Life Services is an independent community initiative and is not currently a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit. We are not soliciting donations. If you want to help, the ways above — partnership, corrections, volunteering, and shop orders — are exactly what moves this work forward.
