Terms of Use
Last updated: October 15, 2026
By using extralifeservices.com you agree to these terms. They are written to be read, not to trick anyone.
1. What this site is
Extra Life Services provides free information and navigation help for people experiencing homelessness or hardship in San Diego County, plus a free GED study game. We are a community outreach initiative. We are not a licensed medical, mental health, legal, or financial services provider, and nothing on this site is professional advice.
2. Not an emergency service
This site, its chat assistant, and its contact forms are not monitored around the clock. If you are in immediate danger, call 911. For a suicide, mental health, or substance-use crisis, call or text 988. For general help any time, call 211.
3. Resource accuracy
We work hard to keep phone numbers, hours, and eligibility current, and we show a "last verified" date on each resource section. Even so, programs change without notice and beds fill up. Always call ahead. A listing is not a guarantee that a service is available, free, or right for you. We are not responsible for the actions, policies, or availability of outside organizations.
4. The help assistant
The on-site chat is an AI assistant. It can make mistakes. It is meant to point you toward resources, not to diagnose, treat, or give legal or medical advice. Confirm anything important directly with the organization.
5. Organizational status
Extra Life Services is not currently a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Any contributions are not tax-deductible unless and until that status (or a fiscal sponsorship) is in place, which we will state clearly on the site when it occurs.
Store and games
The Store page is a preview. Nothing is for sale yet. When purchases open, separate terms for price, shipping, and returns will be posted before you buy. GED Quest is a study aid. It does not guarantee any test result and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the GED Testing Service. Games and the AI study tutor can make mistakes.
6. Acceptable use
Please don't use the site to harass anyone, attempt to break it, scrape it for commercial purposes, or submit false or abusive content through forms or chat.
7. Content and links
Site text, design, and the GED study game are provided for personal, non-commercial use. Study content is educational and does not guarantee any test result. Links to other websites are for convenience; we don't control or endorse their content.
8. No warranty; limitation of liability
The site is provided "as is." To the fullest extent allowed by law, Extra Life Services is not liable for any loss or harm arising from use of the site or reliance on information found here, including information from outside organizations.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the new version. The date above shows the latest version.
